Small Quilts for Sale

One of the lectures that I present to quilt guilds is called “Dolls, Walls, and Other Smalls”.  In this program I display many doll and wall sized quilts that I have made.  During this presentation I also give suggestions on how to display these little quilts.  When you walk into our front door you are greeted by a wall-sized pineapple quilt hanging from a shelf that my husband made.  As you walk from room to room you will see that I have mini runners on benches and shelves.  Small quilts are folded and stacked in miniature cupboards, placed over the front of candle boxes, and over the back of a chair.  Primitive dolls sit with mini quilts in their laps, and quilts are on end tables next to redware plates or have a lamp on them.  These are just a few of the possibilities of what you can do with these charming pieces.

My quilts are machine pieced or hand appliquéd and hand quilted.  I use 100% cotton fabrics, batting, and thread.  The quilts shown are representative of colors I use, but actual fabric may vary according to availability.
